Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC back in October. The company is allegedly already working on its successor, and the development is quite advanced.

So much so, in fact, that the next top-of-the-line Qualcomm chipset may launch earlier in the year than its predecessor – around the middle of the year, in fact.
This wild rumor comes from Digital Chat Station over on Weibo, and as always with Weibo posts, there’s a chance something got lost in (machine) translation, so do keep that in mind.
The next Elite chipset will allegedly have significantly improved GPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and it will be built on a TSMC 3nm process.
