One-Netbook has confirmed when its GPD Win Mini alternative will go on sale. Based around an 8.8-inch and 144 Hz display, the OneXPlayer G1 utilises AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU and LPDDR5X-7500 RAM while also providing a choice between OcuLink and USB4 connectivity.

One-Netbook has returned to reveal more details about the OneXPlayer G1, fresh from releasing the OneXPlayer X1 Pro with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU and up to 64 GB RAM. Additionally, One-Netbook teased the OneXSugar in collaboration with Sugar Cubes. However, while the OneXSugar is an Android-based handheld, the OneXPlayer G1 utilises the same Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU as the OneXPlayer X1 Pro.

In summary, One-Netbook has confirmed that the OneXPlayer G1 will also ship with the following other hardware within its 900 g housing:

  • 8.8-inch, 2.5K and 144 Hz IPS display
  • LPDDR5X-7500 RAM
  • 14,283 mAh battery
  • OcuLink and twin USB4 ports
  • Bluetooth 5.2/Wi-Fi 6E connectivity

On top of that, One-Netbook has included a detachable keyboard that hides a controller and a small secondary touch keyboard.

As it turns out, the OneXPlayer G1 is only a week or so away from being released, despite the recent arrival of the OneXPlayer X1 Pro globally. Specifically, the company has informed us privately that the latter will be available on January 9, albeit on Indiegogo rather than through its OneXPlayer retail store. Pricing remains unknown for now though, as do any associated launch offers and memory combinations.
