AYANEO introduced its new flagship Android handheld, the Pocket S2, at the Game Developers Conference. This device marks the global premiere of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 gaming platform, alongside the AYANEO Gaming Pad tablet.
AYANEO Pocket S2 Features
The handheld is the first to feature the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3, promising a 30% increase in CPU and 28% in GPU performance. This chip supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution. The device sports a 6.3-inch 1440P IPS display for detailed and vibrant visuals. Wi-Fi 7 is included for low-latency cloud gaming.
AYANEO states the Pocket S2 has the largest battery in its category, along with fast charging. A redesigned cooling system, incorporating a large heatsink and active fan, ensures consistent performance during demanding gameplay.
The Pocket S2 features AYANEO’s signature CNC-machined aluminum frame and an ergonomic curved design. It includes upgraded Hall-effect joysticks and Hall linear triggers for improved precision. Dual X-axis motors provide detailed haptic feedback.
The device comes with AYANEO’s AYASpace and AYAHome software, enabling customizable performance profiles, button mapping, and game library management. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
